Old Town Decal 1907-1940
Newly reproduced with the permission of Old Town Canoe Co. these 2 x 3-1/2 inch "water-slide" decals are exact replicas of the original. Used circa 1907-1940, has black sign with white lettering.
Some members have had a problem with these stickers cracking. Here is a tip from WCHA member Eric Harman.
"I believe I have found a way to avoid the cracking problem: when the decals are first dropped into warm water they immediately roll up into about a one inch diameter tube. If the water is not deep enough to cover the decal one is tempted to unroll the tube and this causes the decal to crack. If you have about two inches of warm water in your dish, slip in the decal and do not touch it for about three minutes the paper backing will unroll on its own and the decal will be ready to slide off in one piece."
